For quite a while now I have contemplated if this plane of existence is even worth sticking around for. Obviously I don't have the answer to this. However, I constantly find myself wondering why I even bother. Being trapped into a society where I have to spend a good majority of my time working for someone else, attending the needs of their company so they can spend their millions really wears me down. It's downright depressing. I'd much rather be spending my time pursing my intellectual and physical interests.

I am terribly disgusted with the upcoming presidential race. Since I am very open about how much I can't stand Barack Obama, I figured that I would be a little more open about how much I can't stand John McCain as well.

It really bothers me that iTunes has taken over the music industry. It's just downright SAD that people do not buy records anymore. I recall some of my best memories of my youth were when some of my favorite records were released. To imagine that people download songs without ever even listening to the whole record is disheartening. An Album is a piece of art. It's meant to be viewed in it's entirety.

At first thought, the meaning of life is most likely something that brings you pleasure. Or maybe a combination of things that bring you pleasure. I've come find that both pain and pleasure are absolutely essential to the meaning of my life. A common misconception in life is that fear is a negative emotion.
The mental processes accociated with a change in structure
Sometimes I get so caught up in thought that I forget to engage other people. At this point in my life, I really wish I could get my hands on a device that could stop time for me. There's so much to do in so little time. I contemplate the fact that humans live such short lives compared to the amount of time they need to exist in the world before they can even begin to "stand on their feet." By this I mean mentally, not physically. At this point in my life I have the energy, willingness and desire to experience as much as I can while I have my health.
